Beautiful hotel, I truly enjoyed its great and gorgeous location.
Location: the hotel was near to downtown Victoria and the ferry and inner harbour. It also was near sights.

So, I stayed in the Laurel Wing King Room and honestly, it was pretty nice. The room was clean and bright, and I loved the Nespresso machine! The view was decent too. But the balcony was a joke. It felt unsafe and was not the relaxing spot I hoped for. A little cramped and could hear some noise from the mechanical room, annoying. Still, I felt kind of pampered overall.

Fantastic hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Gotta say, I loved the bathroom. But the oriental garden off of our balcony was beautiful to wake up to. We felt welcome the minute we walked in the door. And even with a conference going on, we didn't feel like we were the ones in the way. I love this hotel!!!!
Let's see - incredibly comfortable bed that made it difficult to want to get up in the morning. Yeah, that was just terrible.

staff responded to all our requests. did ask for a better view room but was told it would cost me $30 or $50 more. had requested room to celebrate our 35 th anniversary. our room was still good, just didn't expect to pay more for a request that I had made when I booked room.

The view, the view, The Location, The Room, the service
We were sad they took out their piano bar. It was nice when they had it and you could have a nightcap before retiring! But they have a restaurant that you could do the same thing, without the piano of course. So we would still stay there.

Location is very good Rooms large size & quiet. Staff tries very hard to please and accomodate.
Pillows not comfortable. Hotel filled with dogs. Maintenance not kept up. Restaurant food is hit & miss / took over one hour to receive food at lunch times even though it was not busy.

missingWrote a review on 18 Julconfusing layout
Finding the room took some time as the numbering system seemed a bit scattered. The bathroom's shower had poor lighting, which might not be ideal for everyone. While the amenities were decent, the single pool felt small for the size of the hotel, lacking a hot tub or sauna, which could enhance the experience.

The location
The hallways, rugs and elevators were pretty worn down and needed to be upgraded. The room and lobby were fine though
